Abstract: The author estimates the results of the socio-economic and organizational transformations implemented in Ukraine in the agrarian sphere in 1991-2001 and analyzes the causes of its crisis condition. The article emphasizes the most controversial problems of further deepening and improvement of agrarian transformations contains certain forecasts and justification of practical proposals.
