Fiscal policy and economic growth
H. Lebeda
Economy and Forecasting, 2002, issue 1, 93-101
Abstract:
The author analyses whether the fiscal policy that has been implemented in Ukraine promoted economic growth in this country. She shows that the measures taken in order to reduce budgetary deficit and smooth over the debt problem were not supported by such tax and budgetary reforms that could have been sufficient for long-term financial stability of the budget. The author proposes a budgetary strategy directed to support the economic growth.
