Abstract: The article provides analysis of macro-economic situation in Ukraine as of January 2004 with brief summary and conclusions as regards the peculiarities of the basic factors and trends in this country's economic development in 2003. Special attention is given to structural processes demand, supply, foreign trade, as well as dynamics of Ukraine's price competitiveness and pricing processes.
