Economy and Forecasting, 2004, issue 3, 127-138
Abstract:
The authors consider the present condition of Ukraine's economy in the light of its transition to innovative development model. It is shown that, under the conditions of dominating impact of major financial and industrial groups on the economic policy in low-technological branches and insufficient pressure of competitive economy, there is a lack of innovation activities. The article points out the absence, in this country, of program potential, which would correspond to the problem's complexity; they emphasize the necessity of special research on the programming methodology for complex socio-technical systems. The authors propose several promising directions of activities on the development of innovative potential on territorial and corporate levels.
