Information and Technological Revolution and Its Role in the Development of the World Economy

Abstract: The author analyses the nature, progress and consequences of the information and technological revolution in the leading countries of the world in late XX century for further social-economic development of the humanity. The article shows that the informational economic system of the mutually connected elements of the 'global systemic core' (North America, United Europe and Japan) is the structure-creative one of the global informational superstructure, which now embraces practically the whole humanity and has a trend towards future development.
