Development of the market of the objects of industrial property
V. Khaustov
Economy and Forecasting, 2005, issue 2, 103-122
Abstract:
The author analyses basic regularities and tendencies of the market of industrial property at global and national levels. He shows the important role of international institutes in turning the intellectual property into a powerful lever of economic growth. The article provides analysis of some problematic issues in the development of the system of protection of industrial property rights in Ukraine, namely, a decrease in the number and quality of patent applications, insufficient level of commercialization of the objects of the right on industrial property, and the practically 'closed' character of the national system of industrial property.
