The government's innovation policy and the problems of intellectual property

Abstract:
The article deals with the role of innovation processes at the modern stage of the society's socio-economic development. The author analyses one of the basic components of the developed nations' innovation policies, namely, the policy in the sphere of intellectual property rights. He outlines the problems related to protection of intellectual property, which are characteristic for Ukraine.
