Abstract:
The author deals with the conversion of South and East Asian countries, first of all, India and China, into a key link in the development of the modern world economy. He analyzes the main factors, which have caused such an evolution. The above mentioned processes are dealt with in the context of modern globalization, goals and mechanisms of international economic development, as well as Raul Prebish's theoretical works.
