Modernization of fixed capital – the fundamentals for preserving competitiveness

Abstract: The author considers theoretical and methodological aspect of promoting the modernization of fixed capital under the conditions of Ukraine's transformation economy. On the basis of in-depth analysis of scientific research and statistics on the subject, the article formulizes corresponding conclusions, proposes new methodological decisions and provides quantitative estimates of Ukraine's innovative prospects as regards preserving the competitiveness.
