Project-based financing of the public utilities infrastructure: international practice
Y. Haiko
Economy and Forecasting, 2008, issue 1, 145-154
Abstract:
The author considers the issue of attracting private investments in the housing and public utilities sector, in which context examples are given from international practice. Based on the analysis of statistical data, she defines various 'bottle necks' in the public utilities sector and the priority investment directions. Using the historical and system-and-analytical methods, the author defines the patterns of project-based financing of architectural projects and generalizes the sources for financing the public utilities.
