Abstract:
The investigation's objective consisted in specifying the evaluations expressed by the population and by the leaders of formation of the public opinion as to Ukraine's integration into Single Economic Space. As research methods, the authors used sociological polls of the population and questioning of experts. The article shows that there exists a polarization of public opinion as regards integration guidelines, while the predominant trend is perception of Single Economic Space as an alternative to the EU. In the society there are preconditions for the population's support of the integration into Single Economic Space, which would correspond to the WTO requirements.
