Abstract:
The authors analyze the peculiarities in the change of the wages share in Ukraine's GDP and gross output as compared to the trends of similar macroeconomic proportions in the EU countries. They make a conclusion on the reasons of the considerable mismatch between the wages share in the output of various economic activities in Ukraine and the developed countries. The article justifies the necessity to conduct a better weighted economic policy as regards further expansion of the wages with due regard to observing optimal proportions in the GDP structure by the categories of income and cost structure of the total output.
