Shock effects of the economic convergence in the development of the newly integrated EU countries

Abstract:
The author characterizes the convergence shocks on the macroeconomic development of the EU-27 post-socialist countries during recent years. Also, she analyzes the effects of the convergence shocks, describes the main accommodation measures taken in those countries, and defines the advisability of their adaptation to the conditions of Ukrainian economy.
