The US mortgage crisis and its impact on Ukraine's economy

Abstract: The authors analyze the reasons of the emergence of and the development trends of the US mortgage crisis. They describe the securitization scheme and point out its mistakes. The article characterizes the consequences of the mortgage crisis for different countries and assesses the crisis' impact of Ukraine's economy.
