Social costs and prospects of the modernization of Russian agrarian

Abstract:
The article provides an analysis of socio-economic consequences and prospects of the modernization of Russia's agrarian sector. Based on the theory social mechanisms, the author considers the modernization as a social process of innovative transformations, and emphasizes the assessment of the rate of unemployment, poverty and the change of socio-economic stratification of the rural population. Based on the rich previous experience of research on agrarian relations in Russia, she provides her own view of the development prospects of Russia's agriculture and justifies mechanisms to attain the objectives of the development.
