The object approach in the modelling of economic processes and information systems of enterprises

Abstract:
The object approach was worked out within the framework of programming engineering and is widely used by information scientists for the needs of designing, programming and application of programming systems. The purpose of the article is to present the object approach as an approach which can be highly useful for economists and successfully used by them in the modelling and optimization.with respect to the costs, time, the use of resources, business processes realized in industrial, service and insurance enterprises, banks, administration. In the article the advantages of using the object approach in the modelling of business processes were stressed. Three programmes were briefly discussed, available on WNE UW: Rational Rose Enterprise Edition, ARIS and iGrafx Process, which enable the application of the object approach for the modelling and optimization of business processes.
