Gerard Mosiej ()
Ekonomia journal, 2001, vol. 4
Abstract:
The topic of the article is a synoptic review of the origin of the customs policy in Poland. Its aim is to find general rules governing the customs strategy over the period of previous centuries. After analysing its role, range and importance in the social and economic system in Poland throughout our history, starting from the most remote times up till the latest decade of the transformation period, we can come to a general conclusion that the customs policy in Poland is characterized by a specific dualism. The problem should be viewed historically: there it is necessary to reconstruct the evolution of the customs strategy, its conditions and dilemmas.
