Abstract:
The object of this publication is undertaking by the author of considerations on the problemof univocality, clarity, and thus precision in the use of the scientific terms and categories of statistics and economy. Not only widespread mistaking of the categories measures and index is concerned, but also many others e.g. coefficient, decil-the tenth decil group, number-digit, quantity-number etc., etc. The effect of this is confusion in the proving of reasons and apparent disputes resulting from terminological misunderstandings.
