Abstract: This article summarises the major conclusions reached through a wide study of business services in the Basque Country. The article confirms the strategic role of these services in the present phase of economic development and then reviews the state of supply and demand in the sector, which was studied through surveys and interviews. Finally, the article examines services made available by public institutions and makes suggestions as to the model to be followed by a regional services policy in the Basque Country.
