Abstract:
There are several aspects in the environmental adaptation of industry: eco-industry is centered upon products with features which provide comfort, but are harmless to the environment, the so-called adaptation industry focusses upon the reduction of emissions, wastes and residues and upon integration into the environment and, finally, the environmental sector which works towards making the adaptation technically possible. Such adaptation, should not be understood as a purely economic effort to continue being equally competitive. The objectives of the adaptation must be set beyond the apparent minimum, as environmental regulations are becoming more and more demanding. In addition, it involves a movement which contains clearly positive factors which are within our reach and which must be considered. Every industry has its own technical role in this adaptation; but it is not possible to forget the overlapping of these roles, as the inhibition of one role can abort the presence of another in this modernisation.
