Abstract: This article considers some key facts happened in the international economy scenario of the 80s. These are: The balance of trade disequilibria that influenced the credit, exchange and stock markets, the problems arisen withing the Ronda Uruguay (GATT), the acceleration of the European economic integration and the increase of the market economy due to the return of Central and East European countries. This evidence allows to conjecture that the Political economy in the future years will be more strict and disciplined in its subsidiary market role, more and better coordinated at different levels and directions and more in favourof the savings and stability of the Financial system.
