Abstract: Technological Research and Development activities absorb a growing amount of resources in the economies of OECD countries. In this article the resources employed are related to the products obtained in creative activities and a look is taken at the apparent differences registered in productivity. The article covers OECD countries, the regions of Spain and the different branches of the business sector in the Basque Country.
