Abstract:
This article is centred on the consideration of certain important aspects connected to the type of currently existing association in the Basque Country Autonomous Community between the leves of studies and the leves of occupation, styarting from the analysis of the results obtained in the application of the 1993 Labour Market Census, the on source of statistics used in this study. The last part of the study deals with the specific characterization, as far as the topics of the essay are concerned, of the population situated in the 25 to 34 year age bracket, which is the sector in which it is most meaningful to consider such current changes. Based on such findings, the study detects a series of disadjustments which are the consequence of a rapid cultural change in the country over the last 25 years which has not been followed by a corresponding qualitative change of similar dimensions in the productive system.
