Abstract: This paper provides an overview on the benefits and the difficulties that are brought about by working time reduction and reorganization processes. The study focuses on the main results of simulations carried out in this matter, featuring the conclusions that are derived at macroeconomic and microeconomic levels reference to the employment policy.
