Abstract:
One of the main objectives of the regional innovation policies is the promotion of innovation support organisations that assist firms in their innovation processes. Firms now rarely innovate alone. They interact with other agents in order to access, develop and exchange knowledge, information and resources. These organisations can be other firms, but also universities, research institutes, financing organisations, etc. The following article offers some reflections on how these second type of organisations should be designed in order to respond more effectively to regional firm's needs.
