Abstract: The Basque aeronautical sector has become especially noteworthy over the last decade because of its high growth rate. The strong institutional support received, as well as the activity developed by the spearhead companies (GAMESA, ITP and SENER), which have now merged, have made the sector an important reference point for the Basque productive network in terms of innovation and its significant synergetic effects.
