Abstract: In the present article there is a tour around the investigation world and in particular the university investigation of the Basque Country by giving an analysis of the effort dedicated to it and also the results that brings. As a conclusion, a brief analyse will be carried out about the way investigation activity and the formative one, which is another chief university function, are closely related. Afterwards, there is a description of the influence that the investigation’s practices activity has on the formative one.
