Abstract:
agents organise themselves in the management webs. These webs incorporate enterprises of different size which cooperate and compete between them, substituting the big enterprises that belong to the Fordism period and which were vertically integrated. The way these webs are organised and their level of competitivity, depends on the confidence, on one hand between the enterprises, and on the other hand, on the confidence inside the enterprises, that is, between the employers and their employees. The most confidence the lowest transaction costs and highest levels of productivity and competitivity. The importance of the confidence in the economic development and in its origin source, which is the social capital, constitutes a part of a debate that explain the rebirth of small enterprises, specially the ones that conform clusters or management conglomerates. The proximity in which these enterprises develop, and the common culture that distinguishes theirs members, enable them to reach collective efficiency by means of achieving scale economies and the correct performance of combined actions.
