Descentralización y financiación sanitaria en España: consideraciones para su reforma

Abstract: The experience of the health care financing model in Spain from a compared perspective is analyzed in this paper. In this framework, we study the advances in terms of fiscal accountability when health care has been integrated in the general autonomous communities financing model and the design of guarantees. A balance of the pending challenges and its possible improvement is also made. Lastly, after some comments and observations, we close the paper with a section of final considerations.
