Abstract:
The current work appraises the entrepreneurship and its dimension in Spain, comparing it with that already existing in the United States and the European Union, distinguishing among the consolidated, early and potential entrepreneurship. The obtained data show that Spain enjoys a fairly high entrepreneurship level, especially if comparing it with Europe. The negative side is that it is more difficult here than in other countries to start up new projects, and that entrepreneurs who suffer adverse experiences have serious difficulties in returning to the market.
