Abstract:
Non profitable organizations (NPO) have several characteristics that from their own origin, purpose and operation are very closed to those considered basic when it comes to Business for Social Responsibility (BSR). But, is this enough to consider NPO socially responsible? or because of their role of public goods and collective benefit providers, should they fulfill more demanding «duties» and conditions? or should the BSR conditions requested to companies be exactly the same as to NPO?
