Abstract: This paper seeks to outline the map of the Basque Country’s public policies aimed at boosting and strengthening Basque Cooperativism. It begins with a classification of the main public policies implemented in different European countries. It is followed by a descriptive analysis of the realities of Basque Cooperativism: its components and the network of relationships; organs of support and for the promotion of Basque Cooperatives; it also shows how they are viewed institutionally and legally, and finally, the paper describes the tax system and the public policies that are being implemented.
