Abstract:
The objective of this work is to check the determinants of benefits by the autonomous communities in the framework of law 39/2006 of Personal autonomy and care dependency. The results, using panel data, suggest that, in the granting of benefits to the unit are relevant demographic variables such as a higher rate of dependency, be over 75 years old and live in an urban population. In terms of economic variables are significant resources available as soon as you’re growing income, occupation, and income tax. Inertia is not perceived in the dynamic model in that the performance of the past are not related to the present. The latent variable according to autonomous differential performance is related to the type of population and the political signal of the regional government.
