Abstract:
This paper addresses the relationship between entrepreneurship and economic growth. We focus upon two issues. First, which variable is the cause or the consequence, because causality has not been conclusively established. Second, if entrepreneurship is useful in order to achieve economic growth. Under a new empirical approach, based on a six year-period country level research, our results suggest that entrepreneurship is a suitable tool, in terms of economic growth for developed countries, and not for developing economies.
