Abstract: In this paper we reflect, from a feminist perspective, on the labor disparities that exist among demographic groups whereas we present recent indicators with which to delve deeper into the analysis of occupational segregation by taking into account dimensions not included in the measurement of this phenomenon so far. Using these indicators and the microdata from the Spanish Labor Force Surveys (Encuestas de Población Activa) and Wage Structure Surveys (Encuestas de Estructura Salarial), we quantify the occupational segregation levels of four groups: foreign women, native women, foreign men, and native men over the period 2006- 2016. In addition, we measure the economic losses or gains that each of these groups derives from its occupational sorting, both in monetary and objective wellbeing terms.
