Una justificación del ingreso básico fundamentada en la eficiencia

Abstract: The present study analyzes how a basic income scheme changes the limits to income redistribution. This fiscal instrument is incentive compatible, non distortionary, and easier to administer than most of the instruments of a modern social security system. Therefore, it could be used to substitute for at least some of them, reducing costs of administration and distortions.// Se analiza aquí cómo un programa de ingreso básico cambia los límites de la redistribución del ingreso. Este instrumento fiscal es compatible con los incentivos, no deformantes, y más fácil de administrar que la mayoría de los instrumentos de un sistema de seguridad social moderno. Por tanto, podría utilizarse como sustituto por lo menos de alguno de ellos, lo que reduciría los costos de administración y las distorsiones.
