Abstract:
This essay reviews the life and the academic work of Jaime Ros, a recently deceased Mexican economist. It highlights his main theoretical and empirical contributions to the analysis of development and growth, as well as his enrichments in the field of macroeconomic analysis and economic policy in Mexico and Latin America.
