La evolución del pensamiento económico en el último cuarto de siglo y su influencia en la América Latina
Juan F. Noyola Vázquez
El Trimestre Económico, 2021, vol. 88 (2), issue 350, 655-673
Abstract:
In this article, originally published in 1956, Juan F. Noyola makes a recount of the models of economic theory that have prevailed up to that time in the 20th century, particularly since the Great Depression, a phenomenon from which various important theories emerged which sought to explain it and give a solution to it. However, he mentions that such theories must be studied from a critical perspective in order to apply to Latin American circumstances. Likewise, the author highlights the importance of proposing a theory of development, as well as taking up the ideas of Marx in an integral way for such a theory.
