Joan Robinson
El Trimestre Económico, 2022, vol. 89 (4), issue 356, 1175-1195
Abstract:
In this essay, Joan Robinson reflects on the economic theories of three of the most paradigmatic economists: Karl Marx, Alfred Marshall, and J. M. Keynes. She performs a comparative analysis of their ideas regarding capitalism, in terms of capital, employment, income distribution, savings, and more. Finally, she highlights the importance of separating ideology from science when studying economic science in general.
