Abstract: The article analyzes some theoretical elements that shed light on the understanding of the nature of the state and the category “state-form”, which seek to identify in the “value-form” the element that unifies the economic and political moments of capitalist society that warn that, within the polycrisis of capital, an intensification of the state can be found to respond to the untimely rhythm of capital in its dynamics of accumulation, with the growth of its violence, particularly recognized by the rise of neo-fascism. Three parts constitute the article. The first presents the characteristics of the dimensions that make up the polycrisis, to make clear its relationship with the capitalist state—state-form—which encourages the increase in violence. The second part deals with the understanding of the state in the capitalist production process, based on the triad “value-form”, “state-form”, and “empire-form”. The third part presents elements to understand the phenomenon of growing violence, with the generalization of political movements characterized as neo-fascist.
