El costo para América Latina de adoptar políticas desleales de comercio

Estudios Económicos, 1992, vol. 7, issue 1, 103-117
Abstract:
The social costs of unfair trade policies to Latin America will increase in the upcoming years. During the 80s, Latin America suffered significantly when industrial countries applied numerous unfair trade measures against its exports. Latin America should stop this process and consider instead the importance of protecting their industries with appropriate macroeconomic policies, realistic exchange rates, and balanced safeguard measures.
