Abstract: The directions of improvement of management in sphere of use of wood resources are covered. The role of the state as formal display of territorial organizational structure in the specified process is determined. Is specified on necessity of essential practical amplification of a state management irrespective of a variety of patterns of ownership on wood resources. The perspective directions of scientific researches in sphere of management of wood resources are certain. In this plan is specified on significant importance of improvement attitudes in the forest sphere.
