Abstract: The article covers the basic principles of investigation of security parameters of Ukrainian water resources. Theoretical and methodological features of scientific category are defined and the description of the main indicators of the security sector is provided. The priorities of ensuring the safety of water resources of the state based on current social and economic parameters are substantiated.
