Abstract: Approaches to formation of organizational and economic mechanism of ecologization regional forest complex are substantiated. Strategy of governance of its development is analyzed. Three basic elements that closely interact with each other: economic, social and environmental are considered. The priority conceptual measures to develop of forest sector in the region, in particular to provide its balance - rational use of materials and new approaches to the process of processing wood are proposed.
