Abstract: Towards a digital economy in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0, economic restructuring is essential. The article focuses on studying the status of the economic structure of Thai Nguyen province in many aspects such as the contribution of economic sectors, economic activities, investment capital structure, and labor structures in economic sectors. The study has shown an overview of the province's economy, and pointed out the limitations, thereby proposing several synchronous and feasible solutions to accelerate the restructuring of the province's economy in the context of industrial revolution 4.0.
