Abstract: This paper delves into the English translation challenges associated with Chinese minority-themed films. The complexities of translating Chinese minority-themed films into English are examined with their historical context, significance, and translation obstacles. By addressing these challenges, the study aims to enhance cross-cultural communication in cinema and promote global cultural exchange. Through a detailed analysis of translation issues, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of the intricacies involved in bridging linguistic and cultural gaps in film translation.
