Abstract: Emphysematous cystitis is a rare form of lower urinary tract infection characterized by the presence of gas in the lumen and / or bladder wall. We report a case of a 64 year old patient hospitalized for an acute abdominal table. The diagnosis of emphysematous cystitis complicated by bladder perforation was made after performing an abdominal scan. Medico-surgical treatment has been initiated.
