Abstract:
This paper seeks to shed a better explanation of relevant relations between Cinema and History, undertaking the Cinema as a living document for historical research, toward to analyzing (from several points) the societies producing it. It is true that certain historiographer sectors do not consider this stream as valid, pretending to ignore that any movie is a complex social production and thus it has his own history, which could capture and reflect the society it was made in. In that purpose, fiction cinema is just another aspect in this social production, allowing history researchers all around the world to understand the way that a society historical memory is constructed. Provided that we advise the difference between cinema as a document (analysis material) against History (concluded scientific work) itself, assuming that it is a living witness of society, apart its convocation, meditation and conviction capability, worth to be studied, understood and valued by us.
