La economía latinoamericana y el necesario consenso energético

Abstract: Since the eighties, also called "lost decade", Latin America went forward in several simultaneous fronts: From generally settled military dictator regimes to a elections cycle rendering democratic governments to the zone, initiating the economic reforms that have darken the remembrance of the destructive hiper-inflation, while increasing the resistance against external shocks, rooting a successful macroeconomic policy. This lets us believe that the expansion being crossed by nowadays will last more than latter cycles. Regarding to hydrocarbon industry, the region enjoys its net exporter condition, profiting the exchange terms and the continuous oil prices increases, which are linked to a strong increase of China demand. India and Latin-America itself have joint this demand increase. If Latin-America mid term GIP stands increasing, this net exporter position could turn inside-out. At the same time, if keeping consumption progressiveness higher in China and even India, world market tensions could also alter the traditional exporting flows.
