La Epistemología: Herramienta para precisar los campos científicos

Abstract: The article distinguishes the scientist of the opinable thing, because the epistemology must explain: the nature and the path to obtain the concepts and scientific theories; the methodology with which one threads the laws and theories that give sustenance to sciences. This is the importance of recognizing the characteristics of the scientific method and reasoning. From writings of Augusto Comte, neopositivismo presents a instrumentalist vision of science, defending, the members of the Circle of Vienna, a verificacionist criterion of meaning. But some authors, like Maximiliano Gallant, think that science intends to understand the nature. The contribution of Esther Diaz, on characteristics of the knowledge scientist: Descriptive, explanatory and predictive; critic-analytical; methodical and systematic; controlable; unified; logically consistent; comunicable by means of a precise language; objective; and provisory, it collaborates so that we understand the tasks of the epistemology.
